Aqui Estaremos Bem (Belo Horizonte/ Brasil, 2002) is a documentary film directed by Vanessa Santos. It tells the history of Santa Izabel, an old colony that in the 1950’s used to imprison people with leprosy.  The film relates the struggle of the past and the difficulties lived in a present permeated by issues related to social reintegration.

The documentary brings the narration of the singer, Ney Matogrosso. The 31 minutes film was released at Cine Humberto Mauro, Palacio das Artes [Belo Horizonte, 28/05/2004], broadcasted by the program “Agenda”, Rede Minas [29/05/2002], and the transmission rights conceded to “Canal Brasil” [2008-2010].
